Damien returns to our screens in February!

Fans have found myriad ways to fill the Hal shaped void since the curtain closed on Being Human series 4 last year, but series 5 has been a long time coming. Finally we have a date for Damien’s return to uk tv screens – Being Human is back 3 February for uk fans.

The BBC Media Centre have released an official synopsis for the series’ premiere, confirming an air date of 3 February. So book your place on the sofa in front of the tv and tune in to BBC Three at 10 pm!

“what’s this? a show about a Vampire, a Werewolf and a ghost?”

We know from the exclusive footage shown on T4 that the six episode series begins where we left off, with Hal tied to a chair – now beardy and traumatised by his unkempt surroundings. We also know that we are ready for the uniquely Being Human intense and heady mix of horror and humor, drama and comedy, humanly intimate and supernaturally epic that will surely follow.

***Spoiler Alert***

What do you get when you put a vampire, a werewolf and a ghost in a house-share in Barry? The return of Being Human!

Ghost Alex is adjusting to life after death with werewolf Tom but vampire Hal is in hell. Not because he’s chained up like an animal, but because he’s desperate to get his marigolds on the messy house.

But when Tom and Alex decide to set him free, Hal’s wracked by uncertainty…can he control his bloodlust? Things get complicated with the return of Mr Rook, the shady figure whose government department protects the world from supernaturals.

Having been fired from the café, Hal and Tom find new employment at the Barry Grand Hotel, home to poisonous pensioner Captain Hatch (Phil Davis). Unknown to our trio, his decrepit exterior hides an ancient evil that threatens not only their friendship but also the entire world.

Starring Damien Molony (Hal), Michael Socha (Tom), Kate Bracken (Kate), Phil Davis (Captain Hatch), Steven Robertson (Mr Rook), Colin Hoult (Crumb), Victoria Ross (Lady Catherine), Jeremy Swift (Emil), Clare Cage (Patsy).
