Damien Molony completes filming on ‘CLEAN BREAK’, gives character clues

 

After a seven week shoot in Dublin and Wexford in Ireland, Damien has finished filming for RTÉ TV Drama Clean Break, announcing it on his Twitter page.

Written by Billy Roche (The Eclipse), directed by Gillies MacKinnon (Behind the Lines) and Damien O’Donnell (East is East) and produced by Octagon Films and 152 Productions, the new four part drama series is due to air in 2015.

Clean Break “tells the tale of a community driven by love, greed, status and revenge” and also stars Adam Fergus (Love/Hate) as Frank Mallon, Aidan McArdle (The Mill, Mr Selfridge) as Desmond Rane, Simone Kirby (Peaky Blinders) as Annette Rane, Kelly Thornton (Love/Hate) as Corrina Mallon and Ned Dennehy (Peaky Blinders) as Noel Blake.

Damien is playing Danny Dempsey, about whom little is known so far, but a behind the scenes photo tweeted by co-star Simon Kirby during filming reveals how his character looks..

..And a photo clue from Damien on the final day of filming suggests Danny Quinn may also face a wounding or injury.

 

We cannot wait to find out more about Damien’s new character in this exciting new drama!
