‘KILL YOUR FRIENDS’ UK and Ireland release date confirmed for November
Damien’s upcoming movie Kill Your Friends will premiere in the UK and Ireland 6 November, Studio Canal announced today.
The official confirmation comes after a September release date was originally suggested.
The film made its market premiere at Cannes in May and has been acquired for international distribution, by Ascot Elite in German-speaking Europe and by Well Go USA Entertainment for North America and Canada. The US release is expected for next year.
Chrysalis Films has acquired the film for France and according to allocine is set for a release two days ahead of the UK, on 4 November.
Early reviews from advanced screenings are positive.
Damien plays Ross in the film, one of a group of friends / colleagues surrounding the protagonist Stelfox played by Nicholas Hoult, alongside a stellar cast including Georgia King, Roseanna Arquette, James Corden, Craig Roberts, Tom Riley and Joseph Mawle.
Our favourite actor will also be appearing in a second movie this year, Story Film’s ‘pitch black’ thriller Tiger Raid.
We cannot wait to see this much-anticipated film on the big screen!

Kill Your Friends is directed by Owen Harris, produced by Gregor Cameron (UNIGRAM), Will Clarke (Altitude Film Entertainment) and Len Blavatnik (AI Film and Warner Music Group) and will be released in the UK November 2015 by STUDIOCANAL.
