KILL YOUR FRIENDS announced for the 40th Toronto International Film Festival

Kill Your Friends has been announced for the 40th Toronto International Film Festival, where it will make its North American premiere.

In this deliriously funny comic romp set in 1990s London, a young record label A&R rep (Nicholas Hoult) does anything and everything to get ahead in the shark tank of the Britpop-era music industry. TIFF.net

The film joins the ‘City to City: London’ programme line-up, “Bringing international cities to Toronto audiences. A snapshot of where’s hot right now. This year’s spotlight: London, England.”

Kill Your Friends has also recently been announced for the Zurich Film Festival (24 September – 4 October) and is currently showing in cinemas across Germany at Fantasy Filmfest (5 August – 4 September.)

In the UK, a special Kill Your Friends film event has been announced for Festival Number 6 in Portmeirion Wales, 5 September 2015 and the UK / Ireland theatrical release date has been confirmed for 6 November 2015.

Damien is playing the character Ross in the movie alongside a stellar cast and we’re delighted his first feature film is having a wide international release.

Kill Your Friends is directed by Owen Harris, produced by Gregor Cameron (UNIGRAM), Will Clarke (Altitude Film Entertainment) and Len Blavatnik (AI Film and Warner Music Group) and will be released in the UK and Ireland 6 November 2015 by STUDIOCANAL.
