‘The Body of an American’: Official trailer released
The Gate Theatre have just released a stunning trailer for Damien’s upcoming play ‘The Body of an American’ which makes it’s European debut this Thursday.

Mogadishu, 1993. Paul is a Canadian photojournalist who is about to take a picture that will win him the Pulitzer Prize. Princeton, 2007. Dan is a writer who is struggling to finish his play about ghosts. When Dan hears Paul discussing his experiences on the radio he finds himself drawn further and further in to his world and in to the battles – public and private – that he is fighting.
Flying from Kabul to L.A. to the Canadian High Arctic, The Body of An American is a gripping and absorbing tale of a very unusual friendship. Two actors, jumping between over twenty roles will take you on a funny, frightening journey from one of the most dangerous places on earth to the depths of the human soul.
A bold new form of documentary drama incorporating some of the most iconic war photographs of our time.
