NEW official trailer released for KILL YOUR FRIENDS
The second Kill Your Friends official trailer has been released by Studio Canal today and it is as hilarious and unapologetic as the first.
It comes ahead of the UK and Ireland theatrical release on 6 November includes and new footage of as yet unseen characters.
There are also new glimpses of Damien’s character Ross – we count four in total, see if you can spot them in the trailer below.
Damien appears in the new sneak peek alongside a line-up of top UK talent including Nic Hoult, James Corden, Georgia King, Craig Roberts, Joseph Mawle, Jim Piddock, Ed Skrein, Edward Hogg and Ella Smith.
The new trailer gives a greater sense of the dark comedy’s flavour, and how the film (described as “this generation’s American Psycho”) satirises the music industry in the late 90s. And worthy of note, out of the male characters we have seen in both trailers so far, Ross has the most genuine Britpop hairstyle of them all, lending an authenticity to the era in which the movie is set. Surely an award nomination waiting to happen!
Kill Your Friends is currently enjoying success in a tour of the world festival circuit, making its world premiere in Germany at Fantasy Filmfest in August, going on to screen at the Toronto International Film Festival in September, the Dinard British Film Festival in France and Zurich International Film Festival at the beginning of October and is currently screening at the Mill Valley Film Festival California.
The film’s UK promotion is also ramping up, with the red carpet premiere on 22 October in London and a Q&A at the Curzon Cinema Soho with writer John Niven.
