‘FELL’ is funded! Damien Molony and Tamla Kari confirmed for sci-fi film short
FELL is a GO! The film has smashed its fundraising target with over £11,000 raised via a Kickstarter campaign.
The awesome news was announced via the film’s official Twitter and Instagram pages.
The sci-fi film short gained ‘stellar’ support, with pledges from backers taking the project well beyond the funding goal. Filmmakers Fern Berresford and Russell Warren thanked every individual who helped them to reach their goal.
Damien will be playing “geek-chic, science wiz” Joel, alongside former Being Human co-star Tamla Kari as “witty, impulsive, emotionally tough cookie” Alice.
Not only are we beside ourselves with excitement to see Hal and Pearl on screen together again, but to see our fave actor in this particular role…he will pull it off just perfectly..
Filming is expected to begin at the end of June, somewhere in a London park setting at night. Backers who pledged £500 or over will be guests behind the scenes during the shoot.
FELL has already won the Ideas Tap ‘Short Film Prize’ and the filmmakers hope to screen it on the film festival circuit before a release. As well as a London premiere, backers will receive their own digital copy of the film when it lands.
We thrilled to be part of the adventure and cannot wait to hear more.
