‘GameFace’ UK Air Date & US Distribution Announced & Behind The Scenes Photos!

It’s GameFace Time For Roisin Conaty & Damien Molony!

Damien will be back on TV screens very soon in Gameface.

His upcoming new TV comedy series will start in the UK 12 October on E4, with a double episode premiere. Writer and star Roisin Conaty announced the air date on Twitter.

But the good news does not stop there! The six episode series produced by Objective Media will also be coming to US audiences this Autumn, via streaming service Hulu.

The comedy centres on Marcella (Roisin Conaty), an aspiring actress with a ‘distinct world view’ who despite being ever optimistic can’t quite get her work, family or love life on track. Damien will be appearing as Jon, her ever-patient driving instructor.

Also starring are Caroline Ginty and Nina Toussaint-White as Marcella’s flat mates Caroline and Lucy, Karl Theobold as her therapist, Pauline McLynn and Francis Magee as her parents, Dylan Edwards as her brother Billy and Dustin Demri-Burns as her ex, Simon.

GameFace aired as a pilot episode in 2014 and was commissioned to series after receiving critical praise. In a recent podcast interview Roisin Conaty revealed that the show and her character have evolved in the three year gap from pilot to series. Filming took place in March this year.
