This is where we left Damien as Tyler Donaghue at the end of The Split series 2, over two years ago.

With the third and final series of the legal drama nearly upon us, the BBC have dropped an exciting new preview trailer with a glimpse of our fave actor, who makes his return as Tyler.

Set in the fast-paced world of London’s high-end divorce circuit, law firm Nobel Hale Defoe saw more than one internal marriage drama within the team in series 2, and focussed on the breakdown of Hannah (Nicola Walker) and Nathan Stern’s (Stephen Mangan) marriage.

But the biggest shock of the series was the twist at the end of the final episode, when Damien’s character Tyler passionately kissed Nina Defoe (Annabel Scholey) – on the day of his wedding to Zander (Chukwudi Iwuji).

The new trailer suggests there will be even more trouble ahead in the upcoming series, for more than one marriage.

Full of intense exchanges, one featuring Tyler in another jaw-dropping clinch with Nina, the preview lives up to the name ‘teaser’ and is a feast of revealing clues to what happens next.
