Damien has shared a tantalising Brassic plot teaser!

Our fave actor spilled the beans on a saucy scene with Michelle Keegan, while speaking at a Sky event on Tuesday 12 February.

*** Spoiler alert! ***

He revealed one of the first scenes he had to shoot with his co-star, who plays his character Dylan’s girlfriend Erin, was a sex scene, in an intimate but less than glamorous setting – a portaloo.

More info via the Irish Mirror below.

Damien Molony has told how he had to film a raunchy sex scene in a portaloo with Michelle Keegan just hours after meeting her for the first time.
The pair star in edgy new comedy Brassic which is set to land on Sky One this autumn.

Molony, 34, revealed he rang his mum and told her about his steamy scenes with the former Coronation Street star.

The Kildare actor, who is best known for his role as DC Albert Flight in BBC’s Ripper Street, said: “I used to ring my mum in the trailer and she asked, ‘What are you doing today?’

“I had to say, ‘It’s day one and I’ve never met this girl before and I have to get into a f*****g portaloo with her and have sex.”

“Raunchy” and “portaloo” are not two words often seen in the same sentence together, the idea alone has the makings of great comedy. We can’t wait to see it in the context of all the (mis)adventures these two on-screen lovebirds and the rest of the Brassic gang gets up to in the new series.

As the only cast member representing the upcoming comedy at the Sky 2019 showcase, we also learned more from Damien about his character Dylan:

Dylan is the brains of the gang so he’s kind-of smart enough to see the flaws in all their crazy money-making schemes. And you know, the great tragedy for Dylan really is because he is the brightest of the bunch, he doesn’t really have any ambition to do anything with his intelligence”. Source Her.ie

And the Irish Mirror article also appears to confirm the Autumn premiere date reported earlier.

Damien was part of an all-star line-up at the Dublin based event, including Jessie Buckley, Rose Williams, Jamie Redknapp, Rob Beckett, Romesh Ranganathan, Yasmin Akram and Juliet Stevenson.

We’re excited to see Damien promoting Brassic and hope it is the first of many occasions in coming weeks.

Brassic will contain six episodes and reach audiences in the UK and Ireland on Sky and NOW TV in the UK & Ireland, with international distribution via ITV Studios Global Entertainment.
