Damien Molony hits the roof in ‘SUSPECTS’
The latest photo from the set of Suspects shows Damien on the roof of the London HQ where DS Jack Weston (Damien), DI Martha Bellamy (Fay Ripley) and DC Charlie Steele (Clare-Hope Ashitey) do all their crime solving.
Unlike most police procedurals, Suspects focuses entirely upon the case, the investigation, the evidence and suspects, with no contextual character detail whatsoever. We don’t go home with the detectives, we know nothing of their backstories and their personal lives, all are left to the imagination.
But, we are given fleeting character glimpses in rooftop scenes, when the detectives take a breather from the work, to contemplate the case or wind down a little. These golden moments are like hidden treasure during the show and we become the detectives looking for clues – adding an exciting and unique level of engagement to the drama.
Scenes on the roof also have a stunning backdrop of the City of London!
We are excited to learn there will be more action from the rooftop in the upcoming series, huge thanks to series producer Kara Manley for another amazing photo.

Suspects is produced by Newman Street (part of FremantleMedia UK) for Channel 5 and returns in the Autumn for Series 2 and in 2015 for series 3.
