The action-packed trailer comes with the intriguing tagline: “THE WORST TRUTHS LIE BEHIND POLICE LINES” and reveals DS Jack Weston (Damien), DI Martha Bellamy (Fay Ripley) and DC Charlie Steele (Clare-Hope Ashitey) are back to tackle more tough cases in the brand new series, coming to Channel 5 later this month.

Details have not yet been confirmed, but the fourth series of the critically acclaimed crime drama is expected to comprise 4 episodes, one airing weekly, a break from the twice weekly two-parters of series 2 and 3.

The first episode of the new series sees the detectives investigating the disappearance of an army Lance Corporal suffering with PTSD.

Suspects Series 4 episode 1 airs 10 pm Wednesday 25 November on Channel 5.
